Green Park will be funding the creation of projects that will ultimately be generating carbon credits.

By being at the centre of this emerging sector, Green Park will have many opportunities for ‘’big ticket’’ projects that will be commercially viable as is, let alone earning carbon credits, which we would then have an ongoing marketing agreement for.

Assisting clients with the qualification process with projects we feel can gain carbon credits under one of the various standards.

The vast array of projects we will be looking to fund and/or gain accreditation, are through avoidance, reduction or removal of GHG emissions. Some key points about the generation type, along with location are whether its:

• Nature-based solutions of creating carbon credits – for example, human-induced regeneration – supply most of Australia’s credits as they are the most cost-efficient to produce. Biodiverse tree-planting projects are now more expensive but may be the next major source of credits under higher carbon prices.
• Or many of the methods that capture and remove carbon rather than just avoid producing it are more attractive to buyers. Any additional co-benefits given to the land or the community from the project are the fourth beacon of quality.*54
